Scan Here to Exclude - A Design Justice Fanzine
Scan Here to Exclude is a zine exploring the overuse of QR codes as a symbol of digital exclusion in everyday life. Drawing on themes from Design Justice, it critiques the assumption of universal smartphone access and highlights the marginalisation of digitally disconnected communities. This is a student coursework for the Design Justice module at City St George's University London.
*This deposit includes 3 files: a print-ready PDF of the zine; an eight-page PDF for viewing the zine online; and a text file with instructions on how to print and assemble the print-ready zine.
**Some text and imagery may appear rough, hand-drawn, or sketchy and this was intentional. These elements are part of the design and were chosen to reflect the tone and DIY spirit of this zine.
