The report (Volume 1) analyses the presence of women in the Spanish-speaking edutuber space on YouTube, revealing a significant gender gap, particularly in areas such as Humanities, Science and Technology. Qualitative and quantitative methods (Volume 2 and 3), including virtual ethnography and content analysis, are used to examine gender representation in the channels, their content and links between them. The data analysis identifies gender stereotypes and misogynistic practices, while observing a greater versatility in the content created by female edutubers in the Social Sciences and Humanities. Finally, future lines of research are proposed to address this gender gap and promote greater female representation in the creation of online educational content.
