Quintal Harmony Bibliography

Quintal harmonic traditions and practices are one of many sets of global traditions which intentionally, or not, structure simultaneously sounding notes. Once we move past the ethnocentric idea that chords made of stacked thirds are the normal vertical arrangements of notes, and that those notes must fit within either a diatonic or chromatic collection of pitches it can become easier to see and appreciate the diversity of fascinating musical structures found in cultures, past and present.

As with many of my resources, this is a work in progress and the most current and regularly updated version is the Google Doc here:
