Nowadays, studies are carried out to reduce many aspects of production input costs in order to provide security of supply and demand in agricultural production and a suitable purchasing environment for the final consumer. In this study, the values of human and machine labor in the unit area of corn and cotton production were determined for the Eastern Mediterranean Region. Human and machine labor values used in corn production; for tillage and planting as İİG (human labor requirement) 12.2 h/ha, MİG (machine labor requirement) 10.9 h/ha, for maintenance works as İİG 74.2 h/ha, MİG 4.3 h/ha, for harvesting and threshing works as İİG 3.9 h/ha, MİG 2.9 h/ha, in the cotton production process, the processes and the values of İİG and MİG were determined as 12.3 h/ha, 11.2 h/ha 292.4 h/ha, 9.1 h/ha and 366.7 h/ha, 3.7 h/ha, respectively.
