This scoping review aims to identify and examine key characteristics and factors related to COPD-related loneliness from the individual’s perspective. By synthesizing the available literature, the review seeks to propose a conceptual definition of COPD-related loneliness. Understanding this specific form of loneliness is crucial for improving interdisciplinary collaboration and informing rehabilitation strategies for individuals with COPD. The scoping review will follow the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology. It will include publications that provide insights into the unique loneliness experienced by individuals living with COPD.
