BIOL5081_2022 course outline

This course examines common sta0s0cal methods used in biology. Data science and sta0s0cal work- flows are developed. Descrip0ve sta0s0cs, generalized linear models, regression, nonparametric tests, bootstrapping, randomiza0on tests, mul0variate sta0s0cs, and bioinforma0c analyses may be consid- ered. The R programming language and RStudio will be used. Students will be required to complete a course project using a biological dataset and sta0s0cal methods of their choosing.
