his paper explores the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and crime scene investigation (CSI) with the ethical aspect of John Rawls' theory of justice. AI has revolutionized most spheres of life, and its application in forensic science offers monumental advances in crime detection, evidence analysis, and predictive policing. However, its use, especially in third-world countries, raises issues such as ethical concerns, lack of infrastructure, and possibilities of biases in AI algorithms. Based on the application of Rawls' justice as fairness principles, this study evaluates the ethical implications of AI in CSI and discusses how AI can enhance forensic investigations and maintain justice and fairness for all.
