The first day of the Crafts abilities Network activity was a visit to the Community Interest Company (CIC), in Wimbledon, London. 3rd July 2018. (www.workshop305.com)

The visiting group of disabled craftspeople from Southern Africa were all from the Charity Southern Africa Federation of the Disabled (SAFOD). (www.safod.net)

The visitors included Mussa Chiwaula, (Batik), Rita Malangeni (crochet) and Shadreck Ndlovu (weaving).

The film captures some of the exchanges and experiences of the visitors and the mutual respect for each others skills and work.

Directors of Workshop 305 Sarah Anton and Kerry O'Keeffe provide more information about the activities of Workshop 305 and how the visit was inspirational for both students and staff.

Staff from Workshop 305 have already indicated they would like to take part in future projects with members of SAFOD in Southern Africa.
