Getting evidence closer to local decision making is an ambition for many local authorities. This webinar outlines a project between KNOW-PH and Lincolnshire County Council where NIHR evidence was used to support the Council’s refreshed Employee Health and Wellbeing Strategy. We outline how the project progressed from building initial relationships to working closely together to make sense of the evidence. Dr Liz Such
Liz is the overall lead for KNOW-PH and works on the rapid response arm of the programme. Liz has a background in public health, social policy and knowledge mobilisation. She has worked for universities and for the UK government in social research and has a long history of working on topics relating to social inequalities.

David Stacey
David is a registered Public Health Practitioner working for Lincolnshire County Council's Public Health Team. He has worked in Local Government for 20 years and has a current role as Programme Manager. David is responsible for a number of programmes of work including leading on Public Mental Health (which includes leading a local gambling related harm stakeholder network, leading work for the integrated care system as a signatory to the national Prevention Concordat for Better Mental Health and having leadership for the suicide prevention strategy for Lincolnshire). He also provides strategic leadership for developing the Council as a research-active local authority and oversees a rural and civic agreement between Lincolnshire County Council and the University of Lincoln. Within the Public Health Team, David oversees a programme of workforce development work which also incorporates shared responsibility for employee health and wellbeing at the Council, working alongside colleagues in HR. This work is underpinned by the Employee Health and Wellbeing Framework for the Council which is co-sponsored by the Chief Executive and Director of Public Health.
