This video documents courtship and mating behavior in Lachesilla forcepeta. The male fanns his wings as he approaches the female. He walks over the female then backs under her. As soon as their genitalia join, he repositions himself above the female. Copulation lasted 11 minutes. As the pair separate, a spermatophore is visible at the tip of the female's abdomen.
