A series of training videos produced by the School of Creative Arts focuses on different medical scenarios to aid in training new healthcare professionals.

This project was a collaboration between the Lincoln School of Film and Media and the Lincoln School of Creative Arts. It brought together students from the BA Film Production and BA Drama programs across different year groups. In this student engagement project, participants took on key roles such as Focus Puller, Sound Recordist, and cast members.

Led by Dr. Robert Dean as the director, I served as the Director of Photography. I shot the videos using the Arri Alexa and utilised lighting equipment from the university's media stores. I primarily shot using natural light, supplemented with LED light sources. At that time, I was beginning to develop my plans to pursue a practice-based PhD in sustainable cinematography, which included considering Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12 as a key aspect of my work.

These videos are now used to help train the next generation of medical professionals, showcasing the impact of my cinematography practice beyond traditional narrative and commercial films.

The video files are for internal use only, therefore for this deposit I have included screenshots from the videos.
