The model animations show from bottom to top: a zoom of the tectonic model, the corresponding surface of the landscape evolution model, the swath profile of the landscape, and the uplift and erosion rates. The tectonic model shows the material colors (see legend in Appendix of the article), and the temperature field displayed with the, 100°C, 350°C, 550°C, and 700°C isotherms. The parameter values have following units: fluvial erodiblity Kf is in 1×10−5 m0.2/yr, crustal strength Fint is in 1×1012 N/m, convergence rate vc is in cm/yr, and crustal thickness zdec is in km.
