This paper presents a comparative analysis of Ferdowsi and Shakespeare, exploring their lives, key works, and lasting cultural impact. It begins with brief biographies, followed by an examination of how their major writings shaped national literature and identity. The study also addresses lesser-known facts and scholarly debates, concluding with a structured comparison of their style, themes, and influence. Rather than ranking them, the goal is to deepen understanding of their roles in shaping Iranian and English cultural identities. The paper is presented in two parts and will soon be available in English, German, French, and Spanish.

این مقاله به تحلیل تطبیقی فردوسی و شکسپیر می‌پردازد و زندگی، آثار کلیدی و تأثیر فرهنگی پایدار آن‌ها را بررسی می‌کند. مقاله با زندگی‌نامه‌های مختصر این دو شخصیت آغاز می‌شود و در ادامه به بررسی نقش آثار برجسته‌شان در شکل‌دهی به ادبیات ملی و هویت فرهنگی می‌پردازد.
مطالعه همچنین به نکات کمتر شناخته‌شده و مباحث پژوهشی پیرامون زندگی آن‌ها می‌پردازد و در نهایت با مقایسه‌ای ساختاریافته از نظر سبک نگارشی، عمق موضوعی و تأثیر فرهنگی، نتیجه‌گیری می‌کند.
هدف این مقاله نه مقایسه برتری یکی نسبت به دیگری، بلکه تعمیق درک ما از نقش هر کدام در شکل‌گیری خودآگاهی فرهنگی در ایران و انگلستان است.
این پژوهش در دو بخش ارائه شده و به‌زودی به زبان‌های انگلیسی، آلمانی، فرانسوی و اسپانیایی نیز منتشر خواهد شد.
