Pengaruh Fenomena FoMO Karakter Labubu terhadap Penjualan Produk Berbasis Tren Pada Gen-Z
FoMO, or Fear of Missing Out, is a phenomenon of anxiety that arises when someone feels threatened by not following trends or experiences that are perceived as valuable, and is often associated with the use of social media. This phenomenon has a significant impact on consumer behavior, particularly among Generation Z, who grew up alongside the rapid development of technology and social media. One example of a trend driven by social media is the popularity of the collectible toy Labubu from POP MART in Indonesia. The success of Labubu has been influenced by the role of social media influencers, such as Lisa from Blackpink, and the FoMO phenomenon, which drives consumers to participate in the trend. This study aims to explore how FoMO and social media play a role in shaping the Labubu character trend in Indonesia.
