PLURIPARENTAL FAMILIES: The Legal Debate in Argentina

This paper describes the current state of the debate aimed at seeking recognition within the Argentine Civil and Commercial Code of pluriparental families, based on a foundation of consensus among doctrinal and jurisprudential concepts, with criteria derived from a longstanding debate. Furthermore, it analyzes the various points of contention regarding the subsequent effects of such recognition, proposed laws seeking to reform the substantive code, and comparative legal norms.
