The article develops a model of tutor support based on an individual approach in the professional and pedagogical training of a future teacher of a higher education institution. It is determined that today tutoring is one of the most advanced technologies for the individualization of learning. The theoretical justification of the construction of pedagogical models was carried out, their principles and structural components were determined. The structural and functional blocks of the model are highlighted and substantiated: target, theoretical-methodological, substantive, technological and evaluation-resultative. It was established that all the specified components (blocks) are interconnected, to which it is necessary to apply a creative approach, without using single templates. On the basis of correlation blocks, an author’s model of tutor support in the professional and pedagogical training of a future teacher of a higher education institution was developed, where the content part is the individualization of the educational process. The purpose of the author’s model is to provide tutor support based on an individual approach in the professional and pedagogical training of a future teacher of a higher education institution. The predicted result of the implementation of the proposed model is expected to increase the level of readiness of master’s students for independent educational activities to the optimal level and their orientation to permanent self-education using tutoring technology. It was established that the individualization of the educational process is implemented in several stages – diagnosticpreparatory, practical-active and correctiveprognostic. Therefore, the individualization stages can be implemented in an individual educational trajectory, which enables the formation of an individual educational plan according to the student’s inclination, abilities, professional aspirations and expectations. The basic pedagogical interaction in tutoring is subject-subject partnership «teacher-student» based on such forms of implementation as individual training classes, individual tutoring consultations, individual tutoring, individual survey. As a result of the implementation of the developed author’s model, students’ independence will increase by 30% (according to the hypothesis), which is due to an increase in time for independent work, which will make it possible to update information search skills taking into account the tutor’s recommendations
