and randomly distributed CdCl2·H2O nanorods on mica surfaces. The as-formed nanorod assemblies have
been successfully replicated into various matrixes, including gold, poly(dimethylsiloxane), and polyurethane.
Thus, this method is compatible with soft-lithography towards further applications.
