The role of data mining in revenue of websites

One of the most used techniques for website to make revenue is advertisement. The success rate of an advertisement is calculated based on the CTR factor. There are different techniques to improve the CTR of an advertisement in websites. Showing relevant advertisement to a visitor of a website can lead to improve the CTR of an advertisement and the revenue of the website.
