The Journey of the Employees' Compensation Scheme

 In Nigeria, the right to social security remains illusory to a large majority of the citizenry as social security laws are targeted mostly at workers in the formal sector of the economy. 

This paper therefore tries to evaluate the progress so far made in the coverage of the vast labour force.
