This survey project was designed to evaluate undergraduate student opinions about the ethical implications of using CRISPR gene-editing technology in research and beyond. The survey was disseminated to Biology and Non-Biology STEM majors at the University of Portland in Portland, Oregon during the 2021-2022 academic year. The findings from this survey study were further explored in the manuscript titled Transdisciplinary Undergraduate Research Facilitates Convergence Education and Ethical Training for Students. A copy of the survey titled Exploring the Ethical Implications of CRISPR in Research and the Treatment of Genetic Disorders along with a summary of the Chi-Square Tests of Independence for the individual survey statements analyzed in our manuscript are included in this Supplemental Information.
