Reviving the Identity of the Historical Texture of the City with an Emphasis on Organizing the Physical and Visual System: Case Study of the Historical Square of Vijuyeh, Tabriz

<p dir="ltr">This study investigates the physical–visual organization of the historical square of Vijuyeh in Tabriz as a strategy to revive the cultural and historical identity of the urban fabric. Using a descriptive–analytical methodology, supported by the SWOT matrix and the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM), the research identifies strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats affecting the historical context. The study proposes practical strategies to address deficiencies and enhance cultural and spatial continuity.<br>The results aim to restore vitality to the historical arteries of the city and contribute to revitalizing similar heritage areas, ultimately supporting the preservation of Iran’s rich cultural and historical identity.</p>
