Either C−H activation or C−C coupling is
observed in reactions of titanocene with azines
(R1R2CN−NCR1R2),
which lead to the formation of
complexes 2 and 3, respectively. The
reaction with two
different metallocene units can yield heterobimetallic
bis(alkylideneamido) complexes (4).
