Pathology of Historical Texture of Tabriz (Analytical Example: Sahib al-Amr Historical Collection)

<br><p dir="ltr">Studies related to the pathology of historical urban textures are an essential step in planning for urban improvement and regeneration. As historical spaces must adapt to the needs of contemporary life, identifying the types and severity of damages in such textures becomes necessary before any intervention.<br>This study focuses on the Sahib al-Amr Historical Complex in Tabriz, identifying and classifying damages across visual, spatial, structural, socioeconomic, functional, traffic-related, morphological, and environmental dimensions. Using a descriptive–analytical methodology and categorization techniques, the research ranks these damages to guide future revitalization efforts and support restoration of the district’s cultural and historical identity.</p>
