O corpo entre o empreendedorismo de si e as patologias contemporâneas do gozo (The body between the entrepreneurship of the self and the contemporary patologies of enjoyment)

The passage from the disciplinary society, characteristic of modernity, to the contemporary neoliberal society is accompanied by important changes from the point of view of the psychic economy and, in parallel, of the statute of body. The first part of this article discusses the body emptied of enjoyment, subject to the norms of the disciplinary system – a body excessively determined by the symbolic. The second focuses on the body inflated with enjoyment, urged to construct itself in the line of neoliberal entrepreneurship – a body excessively invested by the imaginary. The third highlights the body flooded with enjoyment of the typical pathologies of our time – a body excessively invaded by the real. / A passagem da sociedade disciplinar, característica da modernidade, à sociedade neoliberal contemporânea é acompanhada de mudanças importantes do ponto de vista da economia psíquica e, paralelamente, do estatuto do corpo. A primeira parte deste artigo aborda o corpo esvaziado de gozo, submetido às normas do regime disciplinar – um corpo excessivamente determinado pelo simbólico. A segunda enfoca o corpo inflado de gozo, instado a construir-se na linha do empreendedorismo neoliberal – um corpo excessivamente investido pelo imaginário. A terceira destaca o corpo inundado de gozo das patologias típicas de nossa época – um corpo excessivamente invadido pelo real.
