These compounds are related to galegine, a γ,γ-dimethylallylguanidine. Between the newly identified compounds, 1h N-(cyclopropylmethyl)-N′-(4-(aminomethyl)cyclohexylmethyl)guanidine showed the most balanced activity as antihyperglycemic and food intake-reducing agent.
