MiraPay: Future Secure Payment(Biometric Payment)

In the rapidly evolving FinTech sector, ensuring transaction security while maintaining user convineance remains a paramount challenge. MiraPay addresses this challenge by introducing a novel face-based payment system that leverages the robust capabilities of cloud computing and biometric technology. Utilizing a sophisticated integration of AWS Rekognition for facial recognition, Django as the backend framework, and Post greSQL RDS for comprehensive data management, this paper presents the development and implementation of MiraPay. The system uniquely combines real-time biometric authentication with a seamless payment process, offering an unprecedented level of security and efficiency in financial transactions. Through a RESTful API, MiraPay collects and processes user data, including biometric and financial information, to authorize trans actions in a manner that is both secure and user-friendly. This study details the architectural design, implementation challenges, and solutions, alongside a thorough evaluation of system’s performance in term of authentication accuracy, transaction speed, and user satisfaction. Our findings indicate that MiraPay not only significantly enhances the security and efficiency of online payments but also proposes a scalable model for future advancements in biometrically enables financial services. The integration of cloud services, coupled with the poser of Django and PostgreSQL, provides a robust platform for the secure pro cessing of sensitive financial data, demonstrating the potential of cloud-based biometric authentication in revolutionizing payment systems.
