Meta-Integration : A cognitive framework for the 21st century
This research explores systemic laziness, a modern behavioral addiction characterized by a disconnect between aspirations and actions, exacerbated by the instant gratification of digital technologies. In response to this challenge, meta-integration, an innovative cognitive model, is proposed. It relies on meta-reflection, a synergy of critical thinking and metacognition, to optimize reasoning and decision-making. The study also introduces the concepts of intellectual intuition and constructive perfectionism, offering tools to navigate uncertainty and continuously improve performance. In contrast to outdated approaches like flow and complex thinking, meta-integration presents itself as an adaptive framework for the 21st century.
The notion of claritism emerges as an intellectual movement advocating for a lucid, pragmatic, and responsible worldview, in response to the excesses of systemic laziness. Through a critical analysis of contemporary phenomena, such as the perception of elites, the use of AI, and identity rigidities, this research demonstrates the urgency of adopting meta-integration as a bulwark against inaction and a catalyst for individual and collective progress.
