This Mathematica code defines the next-generation matrix describing a general parasitic decomposer and, by finding the dominant eigenvalue of that matrix, produces the R0 of such a generalized organism. The analysis is expanded in subsequent sections to find the R0 of specific categories of parasitic decomposer.
