International Model United Nations conference on Trade for Peace

The Institute of Legal and Policy Research (ILPR) goes beyond merely imparting research skills and capacity-building to Afghan students; it takes a pioneering step by organizing several international Model United Nations (MUN) conferences in collaboration with eminent institutions in India. These conferences serve as platforms for fostering diplomatic skills, promoting global understanding, and addressing pressing issues on the international stage. In partnership with the prestigious JSS Law College, Autonomous Mysore, ILPR hosted the inaugural International Model United Nations conference on "Harmonizing Trade for Peace" on March 15th, 2024. This conference focused on the integration of trade and peace in conflict-affected states, with the World Trade Organization (WTO) as the designated committee.
