Effect of Maternal Anxiety and Unhealthy Feeding Practices on Child Mental Health

<p dir="ltr">Background: Behaviour disorders (BDs) among preschool children can develop in later years into</p><p dir="ltr">psychological and psychiatric disorders. Prevention starts from early childhood. The aim of this study is</p><p dir="ltr">to identify the underlying causes of BDs related to breastfeeding duration and weaning, unhealthy food</p><p dir="ltr">intake (UFI) and maternal anxiety. Methods: A sample of 503 children aged 3-5 years were selected from</p><p dir="ltr">a district in Lower Egypt (LE). Mothers were interviewed for early feeding practices, child health and</p><p dir="ltr">BDs.</p>
