Data and code for Côté et al. Do climate change experiments yield relevant insights into responses to long-term ocean warming? This examines the extent to which climate change studies aimed at predicting the response of marine species to warming mirror the conditions to which species will be exposed in the future.

The data are from a systematic review that yielded 175 climate experiments from 48 studies, which encompassed a range of taxa, laboratory conditions, and responses. The code analyzes the importance of temperature ramping rate, i.e., the speed at which organisms are brought from control to experimental temperatures, in modulating responses.
