The thermophysical aspect of the formation of the temperature sensation of a medical and biological object from contact with another body with a different temperature, in particular, with artificial leather, is considered. As a criterion of comfort, only the temperature range in the range from 29 to 37 ° C was used. The external pressure of the environment and its relative humidity were not taken into account. The described technique is of an evaluative nature and does not take into account the peculiarities of human skin and his individuality. However, the conclusions obtained in the work can be used for the mass production of clothing for the population, as well as in the design of workwear. The technique of short-term measurements at the stage of an irregular thermal regime is applicable for studying the thermophysical characteristics of artificial leather. The typical error of this method is up to 3%.
