Greifinger and collaborators yet again aid in empowering correctional professionals, linking correctional healthcare with public health and community health providers, and increasing the health literacy and ethical knowledge of correctional and health administrators and policy-makers. All readers will benefit from better understanding jail, prison, and community health systems and the punitive policies and health risks to which people who are incarcerated and their respective communities are exposed. This 2022 edition is of particular interest to researchers; practitioners; and others interested in correctional health and medicine; criminology; public and community health; social work; and criminal justice and health care administration, ethics, policy, and law.
