iPadagogi dalam Praktik: Sebuah Model m-learning dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa

While mobile technologies such as mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), digital music players (mp3 players), and tablets have permeated popular culture, they have not found widespread acceptance as pedagogical tools in higher education. The purpose of this paper is to explore the use of iPad as mobile devices in learning in higher education and to provide examples of good pedagogy. We are sure that the examples of mobile learning found in this paper will provide the reader with the inspiration to teach their own subjects and courses in ways that employ mobile device in authentic and creative ways. The uses of iPad as mobile technologies are indicated relate mainly to administration functions such as calendaring and timetabling; presentation functions such as showing powerpoint, slideshow photos, and play the videos; reference functions such as e-books and dictionaries; annotation functions such as in response and feedback activities; and evaluation functions such as make score for assignments and submit the grade. So that, the benefits of m-learning can be gained, through collaborative, contextual, constructionist, and constructivist learning environments.
