Overexpression of miR-146a suppresses protein expression levels of TRAF6. (A) miR-146a expression levels were determined by qRT-PCR with TaqMan primers and probes specific to miR-146a. Scramble and miR-146a transfected primary human synovial fibroblasts were harvested 48 hours post transfection and fold change of miR-146a in overexpressed cells were significantly higher with respect to scrambled miR-146a (*p<0.05). (B) Western blot analysis showing significant decrease in the protein expression levels of TRAF6 in miR-146a overexpressed primary human synovial fibroblasts compared to controls and scrambled miR-146a. (C) The graph bars are representing densitometry analysis of TRAF6 expression levels normalized with β-tubulin. All the experiments have been done three times and results are shown as mean ± SEM. (* for p value≤0.05).
