A. U87-EGFRvIII cells alone (1×105) or with equal amount of control or scFvEGFRvIII expressing hMSCs (n = 12 per group) were inoculated in the right hemisphere of athymic mice. Survival of the animals was recorded until last animal died. B. U87-EGFRvIII cells alone (1×105) (n = 13) or with equal amount of control (n = 10) or scFvEGFRvIII expressing hMSCs (n = 11) were inoculated in the right hemisphere of athymic mice. Animals received an additional 3×105 of control or hMSC-scFvEGFRvIII intratumoral inoculation at 2 weeks and the survival of the animals was recorded. C.
