KIFC1 transports LCx components along the AFS in order to facilitate acrosome formation during <i>E. modestus</i> spermiogenesis. KIFC1 may also link to the nuclear envelope and participate in nuclear shaping. AFS: acroframosome, LCx: lamellar complex, MF: microfilament, M: mitochondrion, G: Golgi complex, N: nucleus.</p>
