The <i>TNT/Gr68a</i> males have no disadvantage in finding decapitated “silent” females.

<p>(A) Courtship initiation was examined for the <i>TNT/Gr68a</i> mutant males, when paired with the decapitated “silent” females in dim-red light. (B) There was no significant difference between courtship latencies of the <i>TNT/Gr68a</i> mutant and the <i>TNT^IN/Gr68a</i> control males (ND). Behavior was recorded in a rectangular chamber with dimensions 70 mm×10 mm×7 mm.</p>
