Circular and square markers denote the face recognition activities without verbalization. The circular markers represent face recognition for two visually similar faces (“drooping eyes”) whereas the square markers represent that for visually dissimilar one (“slanted eyes”). Triangular markers denote activities during and after verbalization. To aid visual understanding, the 3-D plots were projected to the 2-D spaces (left and bottom planes).
