The Giraffatitan brancai mount at the Humboldt Museum of Natural History has been restored with an extraordinarily steep neck at the base, with an ascending neck that appears to be in ONP. While the neural arches in the cervico-dorsal region were not preserved, the centra were, and the sculpture in the mounted skeleton deviates significantly from the actual fossil material (see Figure 4).
