NMDA subunit protein levels measured by Western blot analysis: GluN2A levels (B) decrease during ethanol withdrawal, whereas the levels of GluN1 (A) and GluN2B (C) remain unaltered. Values are expressed as percentages over control data for each subunit and are means ± SEM (n = 3–5 samples/condition). Data were assessed by the t-Student's test (**P<0.01 vs. control).
