Effects of antroquinonol on FAK signaling pathway.

Cells were treated with the indicated concentrations of antroquinonol (5 and 10 μM) for 24 h. Cells were harvested and lysed for western blot analysis. (A) Changes in the levels of FAK, pFAK, Src, pSrc, Cdc42, and Rac1 proteins after normalization to the levels of beta-actin are shown below each blot. (B) The in vitro assay was performed to detect the effect of antroquinonol on pFAK (Y397) (i) N18 and (ii) C6. (C) Cells were treated with PF 431396 (0.5 and 2 μM) for 24 h. Proteins were extracted and subjected to western blot analysis for FAK and pFAK. The results shown are the mean ±SEM of three independent experiments. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, and ***p < 0.001 when compared with the untreated controls.
