Adoptive transfer experiment was carried as indicated in the schematic diagram in Fig. 6A. CFSE-labeled, 1.5×106 OVA257–264-specific CD8+ T cells (obtained from in-vitro expanded cultures) were transferred intravenously into day 9 tumor bearing mice (mean tumor size 45–90 mm2). Mice were euthanized 4 days later and the number of donor cells in the various organs of recipients was enumerated.
