<p>The growth of <i>C. albicans in vitro</i> was monitored spectrometrically over 24 h to determine the inhibitory effect of recombinant antimicrobial peptides cecropin D and gallerimycin. The maximum growth rate for <i>C. albicans</i> was 0.11, for galleriomycin and cecropin D were 0.06 and 0.08, respectively. Error bars indicate standard errors. Each experiment was triplicated.</p>
