Comparison of the Nrf1 expression under hypoxia and proteasomal inhibition.

WillmoreWFF2002 (A) and COS7 (B) cells were treated with normoxia (21% O2), hypoxia (1% O2), 10 µM MG-132 or hypoxia and MG-132 combination for six hours and subjected to Western blotting. The band density was normalized with respect to β-tubulin (β-tub) or ponceau S red staining (p. stain) and is presented as means ± SEM of at least three independent experiments for WFF2002 (C) and COS7 (D) cells. Asterisks (*) indicate significant difference (p<0.05) compared to control.
