CnrN is necessary for chemorepulsion by AprA.

Cells were assayed for chemorepulsion in response to rAprA in an Insall chamber for 1 hour. A negative migration index indicates movement away from the AprA source. Values are mean ± SEM of at least three independent experiments. * (p<0.05) and ** (p<0.01) indicate a significant difference (t-test).
