A–B. The bar graphs illustrate the relationship between the frequency of paediatric abdominal pain (AP) and the number of allergic diseases in children, as well as the number of comorbidities in their mothers. Error bars in the figure represent the 95% confidence intervals (CI) for the frequency of paediatric AP. C. The high-risk group is defined as children with both ≥ 3 allergic diseases and ≥ 3 maternal comorbidities while the remaining children are regarded as the control group. The frequency of AP is compared between the high-risk and control groups.
