This cartoon uses two Venn diagram-style circles to contrast the current state of data sharing ("minimal sharing") with an ideal future state of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data. The smaller green circle representing FAIR data is mostly enclosed in a larger red circle showing the current situation, while a much larger green circle to the right shows where data sharing needs to be.
