A: Cumulative distribution of time constants (median = 2.90 s, interquartile range = 1.39 s to 4.07 s) estimated from the autocorrelation function (ACF) of neurons using the approach previously reported by Zeraati et al. (16). B: Scatterplot of time constants estimated from the ex-Gaussian model and the ACF-based approach. A significant correlation between the two sets of estimates suggests consistency in time constant measurements across the two methods (Kendall's τ = 0.19, p < .001).
