BEmOC-1 includes all BEmOC functions except assisted vaginal delivery. CEmOC includes all BEmOC functions in addition to cesarean and blood transfusion capabilities. CEmOC-1 includes all CEmOC functions except assisted vaginal delivery [5–6].
